What counts as a server-side event?
A server-side event is counted when Kickin successfully sends a unique event to a destination (Meta CAPI or GA4). Duplicates are automatically deduped and not counted. Failed sends and retries are not counted either.
What's the difference between client-side monitoring and server-side sending?
Client-side monitoring detects when your analytics tags fire (or don't fire) in the browser. Server-side sending actually transmits events directly from our servers to Meta CAPI and GA4, improving data quality and reliability.
Can I upgrade or downgrade at any time?
Yes! You can upgrade at any time and the change takes effect immediately. When you downgrade, you'll keep your current plan features until the end of your billing period.
What happens if I exceed my event limit?
We'll notify you when you're approaching your limit. You can purchase event packs at any time to increase your capacity. We won't stop sending events mid-month.
